How to play Scorpion Solitaire
Read the aim of Scorpion Solitaire, then make your first move. Complete four same-suit king-to-ace runs. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Choose a comfortable screen position before beginning. Look at what changes after your first action.
Seven columns; three stock cards dealt once to the first three columns. Free solo play, no wagering.
Review a difficult moment
When a decision goes wrong, compare it with the common mistake described below. Start again only when you intend to leave the current round. Use the example to check your reasoning.
Your goal
Complete four same-suit king-to-ace runs. Use the instructions to see which actions move you towards it. Return to the instructions when a step is unclear.
Step by step
- Move a face-up card with its tail onto the next higher same-suit rank. Kings fill empty columns.
- Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
- Use foundations where available; full Spider or Scorpion runs clear automatically.
- Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.
Controls
Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Check any mode label before starting.
A useful example
The trailing cards may be unordered, but the destination suit and rank must match. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Check the stated objective.
Watch out for this
Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Check the rule before repeating the action. After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again.
